Today, we organized a chess demo at the Chess Corner in our school during recess. Before the chess demo, we set up 3 booths with chess sets that are supposed to be used to teach the pupils. After setting up the booths and making everything ready, we took our places and waited. However, our problem is it that not much people walk past our chess corner and even those who walk past just glance at us in a strange way and left. Worse still, there’s a huge storm and strong winds blowing at us and papers were flying everywhere. We had a difficult time indeed. We were quite discouraged at first and some of us went to the canteen to introduce the pupils here. Towards the end, more and more people came and our result is 26 pupils for both P3 and P4. Although the result is not satisfying and the chess demo is not up to what we had expected, we still gained experience and enjoyed ourselves.
